A 501(c)(3) charitable federation

Healing that reaches the
communities medicine has passed over.

Changing lives in many different ways

Gifts become operating rooms, trained surgeons, and pastoral care — across six organizations with one mission.

The calling

Every nation whose healthcare system has been devastated is the mission field.

Healing Vessels International began as a call to ministry, and the field it was given is the whole of it — wherever surgery is unreachable, wherever a hospital was never built, wherever the people who would do the work were never trained. The vessels below are how that call is being answered, one nation at a time.

Why we exist

Medicine is unevenly distributed. Money, training, and faith rarely travel together to fix that.

Healing Vessels International was built to close that gap deliberately. It is the fiscal sponsor and charitable hub for a small group of physician-led initiatives — a rehabilitation practice in Maryland, a surgical university without a campus, a hospital-building company in West Africa, a research alliance with Johns Hopkins, a software system that runs all of it, and a church that treats faith as part of healing rather than an afterthought.

None of the six exists to compete with the others. Each was founded because the one before it ran into a wall only the next one could remove — a clinic that generated evidence but no surgeons to use it abroad, surgeons with no hospitals built to modern standard, hospitals with no shared system to track grants and safety data, and a mission, throughout, that its founders never separated from their faith.
